For the People and Kids, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to forging impactful connections between communities and local resources. Through our local partnerships, we deliver hands-on educational programs that engage and empower individuals of all ages. Our mission is to inspire a deep appreciation for nature and foster a stronger, more connected community.
Supporting Local Farms and Gardens:
We are dedicated to supporting local farms and gardens by fostering sustainable practices and strengthening community ties. Through partnerships and initiatives, we promote the growth of local agriculture, provide educational opportunities, and enhance access to fresh, healthy produce. By investing in these vital resources, we aim to nurture a more resilient and connected community.
Collaboration with Local Schools, Libraries, & Homeschool pods:
We partner with local homeschool families, educational institutions to enrich students' learning experiences through after-school programs, bilingual programs, outdoor activities, nature-focused curricula, and interactive field trips. These initiatives enhance academic growth and instill a lifelong love for the environment.
Partnerships with Communities:
We value collective action by pooling resources and expertise to drive positive change. For the People and Kids, Inc. brings the community together, fostering collaboration and shared goals. Our dedication to dynamic partnerships and Community Programs and Events enhances unity, supports local talent, and maximizes resources.

Join us at Warner Library for Spanish Through Movement, a joyful, hands-on class led by Anna Mayta of Mayta Fusion Dance. This session will be specially designed for ages 0–3. Anna provides a playful session and introduces little ones to the Spanish language through rhythm, music, and movement — engaging their bodies and minds in a fun, creative way!

Bring your jack-o’-lanterns to the Mt. Kisco Farmers Market on Sunday, November 2, from 11 AM-3 PM!

We’ll gather all the pumpkins and bring them up to the farm, where they’ll be enjoyed by our farm animals and turned into healthy compost.
It’s a fun way to recycle your Halloween pumpkins and give them a second life—good for the animals and the earth!

Led by Tiffany Debnam, this workshop features a panel of experienced homeschool parents discussing homeschooling styles and reporting, plus guest expert Shaina Rotstein, M.A., CCC-SLP from Talk of The Town Speech and Language Therapy sharing insights on speech and language milest
