The first seed was planted by developer and founder Jessica M. Colón. After a successful 20+ year career in the Sales and Finance industry, JMC began her second chapter by returning to school to obtain her BA in Art History. This was a decision based upon what she always wanted to do, which is to bridge community and the Arts. Upon graduating, JMC began working at NYBG and became a Museum Educator at several institutions, a Board Member of a non-profit, where she served as the Fundraiser and Sponsorship Manager, and lastly, she developed a free platform-based website for local artists. These endeavors led to her starting her own consulting company, involving credit and finance empowerment, which has now branched out to educational programs. As a mother of two and older sister of five, she is proud to bring together community and families.
