For the People and Kids, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating meaningful connections between communities and local resources. With our collaboration with local farms, gardens, schools, and other organizations, we strive to provide diverse, hands-on programs that empower community members of all ages. Our overarching mission is centered around education, aiming to instill a profound appreciation for nature. By partnering with local organizations, we seek to bring about a positive impact and create a stronger sense of community together. 

Agriculture is deeply intertwined with nature, and sustainable farming practices are essential for a healthier planet. We work closely with local farms and community gardens to facilitate educational programs on organic farming, food sustainability, and the benefits of consuming locally-grown produce. These initiatives foster healthier eating habits and promote a more eco-conscious approach to agriculture. 

 We recognize the pivotal role that schools play in shaping young minds. We partner with local educational institutions to enrich students' learning experiences through after-school programs, outdoor activities, nature-focused curricula, and interactive field trips. These initiatives enhance academic growth and instill a lifelong love for the environment.

We strongly value the impact of collective action and actively collaborate with other nonprofit organizations to address and overcome local challenges. Through the pooling of resources and expertise, we amplify our collective impact and drive positive change. Local businesses, village libraries, and churches form the beating heart of our community, playing an indispensable role in its prosperity. We are dedicated to forging vibrant collaborations with neighborhood establishments, focusing on developing Community Programs and Events. These initiatives actively promote sustainable living, celebrate local artisans, and conscientiously minimize our ecological impact.

Our advocacy for "Upcycle Art" transcends mere environmental awareness; it catalyzes to encourage the imaginative rethinking of waste and the resourceful repurposing of items. This approach effectively reduces the burden on our landfills, underscoring our belief in the transformative power of creative reuse.
