I am excited to share that I will be continuing my role as the Community Program Director at the Access Nature Project. As we embark this April for our 2024 Season, our mission remains steadfast – to bring the benefits of nature to underserved populations.
Access Nature Project Mission:
Our mission is rooted in the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the wonders of nature. We aim to create self-sufficiency among our participants, empowering them to enjoy nature outings independently. By doing so, we provide a lifelong tool for well-being and foster a profound connection to the natural world.
As we move forward, I am dedicated to expanding our reach, ensuring that more individuals from underserved communities can access the transformative power of nature. Stay tuned for exciting updates and collaborative efforts to make the great outdoors accessible to all.

We are thrilled to announce our new collaboration with Lasdon Park, offering young artists an engaging introduction to drawing while connecting with nature! Participants will delve into the fundamentals of drawing as a dynamic development process, unlocking their creativity in the process.
In addition to honing their artistic skills, learners will play a vital role in planning a wildflower garden, exploring the importance of native plants in supporting wildlife and enhancing our environment. Each week, we'll sow seeds that require a winter chill to germinate and introduce a new plant, discussing its native habitat and ecological contributions.
This hands-on class beautifully blends artistic expression with environmental stewardship, inspiring the next generation of nature enthusiasts and artists. Join us for a journey that nurtures creativity and fosters a love for our natural world!
